TIMELESS CHARM OF A PERIOD HOME

The Victorian residence, located in Blackburn, exudes the timeless charm of a period home. Our approach to this project was to preserve its character while enhancing its livability. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a Victorian cottage facade adorned with original lattice across the porch and beautiful old weatherboards.

Inside, we meticulously designed an extended hallway with high ceilings and French-styled box trim on the walls to accentuate the home’s character. Transitioning into the kitchen, visitors encounter a striking juxtaposition of dark features against white walls, with a stunning marble kitchen island serving as the focal point.

Throughout the kitchen and living space, intricate details such as pressed tin for the backsplash, character lighting fixtures, and original-looking skirtings on the ceilings add to the home’s authentic charm. Our aim was to honor the heritage of the Victorian era while creating a comfortable and inviting living environment.
